Every woman wants a perfect wedding, and in that I was not an exception. My fiance and I chose Mingo Gardens because we wanted a simple, yet elegant wedding. Rick and Cherry were wonderful to work with. I was happy knowing they were taking care of everything, leaving us to enjoy ourselves and relax. Cherry took the time to incorporate small pieces of "us" into the settings. My bridesmaids and I loved all the tiny details in our dressing area and my photos there had gorgeous backgrounds! My wedding day was beautiful and all I could have possibly hoped for. My friends were talking for weeks afterwards about it and how amazing everything was. Cherry & Rick Rosin are such a blessing to know! They helped us plan, prepare, and carry out our wedding at their beautiful & peaceful country home, Mingo Gardens. Hving them take care of many of the details--both big and small--made our wedding celebration a fun & relaxed time for us. One of the many things I found helpful was the wedding planning check-off lists on Mingo Garden's website. This list helped us remember to do everything we needed to and gave us a suggested time-line to work with.
Everything from the beautiful country garden location, the sound system, the rented tables, chairs, linens, portable bathrooms, the food tent, the great decorations, and the bride's room & grooms' cottage were all wonderful--like a fairy-tale wedding come true! All of these things that were already provided for--greatly reduced our stress and the hassel and time it would have taken for us to put together all of those things ourselves.
It was so reassuring to know that Rick & Cherry had things flowing smoothly on our wedding day. All we had to really worry about that day was walking down the aisle, making our life-long commitment to each other, and enjoying our time with all our friends and family who came to celebrate with us. It was a sweet wedding in a charming garden setting with butterflies and hummingbirds among the guests. The bride and groom dancing, twinkling lights, a quaint turn-of-the-century home—a truly picturesque dream wedding! This was a wonderful time of celebration. Mingo Gardens is a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding or event. The splashes of colorful flowers everywhere provide a tailor-made backdrop for photographs. Green fields surrounded by scenic mountains give the outdoor venue an intimate and unique feel.
